Mrs. Brenda Richardson came to Zenon J. Sykuta with 19 years of experience in education, previously she worked 3 years in School District #152.5, and the remainder of her experience has been spent in Country Club Hills School District # 160.  A native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, she attended Dollarway High School and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff  where she received her Bachelor’s degree in 1982 in Accounting and Business. Mrs. Richardson earned a Master’s in Education in 1998 from the University of St. Francis and a Masters in School Leadership (Type 75 Certification) from Concordia University in 2008.

Mrs. Richardson has served in various capacities in all schools in the district.  She as has served as a classroom teacher, a gifted coordinator, curriculum coordinator, assistant principal, and an acting principal.   Mrs. Richardson’s work in the district has allowed her to facilitate opportunities for students in the district to attend the inauguration of the first African American President of the United States of America, President Barack Obama; created a global connection as a United States Representative to South Africa for the study of Economic Education, are accomplishments that Mrs. Richardson is proud to have achieved in Country Club Hills School District # 160.
